As a child, Brady Robinson (52) was passionate about heights and nature. He climbed trees, and over time, with encouragement from friends like Jimmy Chin, he sought to reach great summits around the world. However, his mountaineering path took a turn toward conservation. Today, as the Director of Philanthropy at the Freyja Foundation, he is one of the driving forces behind the “Conserva Puchegüín” campaign, which aims to raise funds to protect more than 133,000 hectares in Cochamó. In this context, he recently visited Chile for the third edition of the Ladera Sur Festival. In this interview, Brady reflects on his special connection with Cochamó, his past and present as a climber, and the adventures that inspire him today.
